Programs

The EHA Foundation concentrates on three core program areas:

HCTC – Hematology Clinical Trial Center

EBAH – European Board for Accreditation in Hematology

GoCART – Bridging the gap between innovation and patient care.

Hematology Clinical Trial Center (HCTC)

Empowering underrepresented clinical researchers by enhancing access to academic- and investigator-initiated clinical trials and providing targeted support throughout the trial lifecycle. HCTC accelerates development of new treatments by empowering researchers everywhere, bringing us closer to cures and better outcomes for all patients.

European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH)

The European Board for Accreditation in Hematology (EBAH) is the trusted, independent authority for accrediting Continuing Medical Education (CME) in hematology across Europe and beyond. Part of the EHA Foundation, EBAH was established as an independent accreditation body in response to the need for high-quality educational content.

EBAH’s mission is to stimulate, and support harmonized high-quality CME in hematology, aiming to provide the highest possible standard of patient and public health care within Europe. EBAH strives to be the reference accreditation board for unbiased and transparent CME in hematology.

GoCART

The GoCART Coalition brings together patients, professionals, regulators, and industry to advance cell and gene therapies in hematology—driving innovation, harmonizing standards, and expanding access to treatment for patients across Europe.

Each of these three programs is a cornerstone of the EHA Foundation’s work, aligning with our overall mission. HCTC drives innovation and collaboration in clinical research by supporting hematology investigators across Europe. EBAH elevates knowledge and standards in the hematology community. GoCART advances cell and gene therapy by fostering collaboration, sharing data, and harmonizing practices to improve patient access and outcomes across the field.
